Ms. Joyce Lin

I have been part of the Carlisle family since 2014. I moved to the Plano area when I was in 4th grade and graduated from Plano East Senior High. I started teaching upon receiving my Bachelor's degree from University of Texas at Austin in 1995.

I have several years experience in 5th grade and elementary PACE. Everyday, I love guiding students to think higher and deeper, challenging them to achieve their goals.

During my free time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar/piano/bass, cooking, reading, crocheting, calligraphy, and painting.

Elementary PACE

The PACE pull-out program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes higher level and creative thinking while coaching students to grow as individuals and to better understand themselves. Although the PACE curriculum is tied to topics studied or academic skills learned in the general education classroom, pull-out instruction is designed to address topics and skills at a more challenging level and to make connections between what is learned.
